User Management

Welcome to the User Management feature! This tool allows you to control user access and manage permissions.

What You Can Do in User Management

  • View All Users and Partners See a list of all users and partners associated with your company.

How to Use the User Management Menu

  1. Access User Management If you have admin permissions, go to the User Mgmt menu to see a list of users and partners.

  2. View User Details Each row in the list shows:

    • Sites: The sites the user has access to.

    • Last Login: When the user last logged in.

    • Status: Click to toggle between active and inactive status.

    • Actions: Use the Action Button/Dropdown to:

      • View User: Open the detailed user view.

      • Delete User: Make the user inactive (they cannot be fully deleted to preserve event and log records).

      • Re-invite User: Send a new invitation.

  3. Open User Detail View Clicking View User opens a detailed view with three sections:

    • Basic Info Shows basic details like in the My Profile view and lets you set a Primary Contact for the company. Only one user can be the primary contact.

    • Permissions Manage what the user can do:

      • Modules: Choose which modules they can access.

      • Manage Users: Decide if they can manage other users.

      • Control Points: Control whether they can adjust point settings.

    • Scope Set what equipment the user can access:

      • Portfolio Level: Grant access to all equipment under a portfolio.

      • Site Level: Grant access to equipment at a specific site.

      • Equipment Level: Grant access to individual pieces of equipment.

  4. Grant Access to New Sites or Equipment

    • Adding New Equipment: If new sites or equipment are added, you must manually update the user’s access.

    • Update Access: To refresh access, open the user’s form, click Update, and the user will be given access to all new equipment under their current portfolio or site.

  • View and Manage Users: Check user details, toggle status, or manage users through the action buttons.
